Welcome to The Supper Club, a brand new event series for 2026 from The Glasglow Girls Club and author and founder of the Glasgow Telly Fest, Claire Duffy (aka The Jackie Collins of Shawlands).

As the year begins to turn inward, this evening leans into voice, boundaries and the parts of womanhood we’re often told to soften, silence or smooth over.

Inspired by recent reads in our Book Club but guided by honest conversation, this night explores themes like: female rage, expression, self-trust and the power of saying no, or not anymore. The GGC Book Club inspires the themes of our Supper Clubs, but there is absolutely no pressure to have read any books. This is about lived experience, not literary homework.

Think autumnal vibes, rich conversation, and a space where women can speak freely, without judgement or fixing.

What to expect:

Non-members: £40 + VAT (you don’t need to be a member of our Social or Business Club to join us)
Members: £35 + VAT (Social Club members receive discounted tickets, priority access and an invitation to join our members WhatsApp)
