The Glow Club formerly known as GGC Business is a business membership like no other. We have grown and our mission is to support our members to do the same.
The word and concept of ‘Glow’ has always been a massive element of the GLASGLOW GIRLS CLUB brand (which started life as a Facebook community back in July 2016). We love the idea of shining a light on our fellow females, be it personally or professionally. In fact, it is our superpower.
Working closely with Kabe Design on the branding and (Claire Grieve on the cute illustrations), we knew that both brands had to have some kind of icon that had a nod to shining bright. For our Social Club (and to add to our 60s vibes) it had to be the disco ball (fun, multi-faceted, iconic.)
For The Glow Club, we opted for the rainbow. With four waves we again nod to feminism (read more about this and why we thought it so important to include it in our branding at our blog) and let’s face it, at the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold and that is what we as business owners are striving to find.
The foundations of this business membership were built from the pain points I faced as a new business owner – loneliness, imposter syndrome, lack of support, feeling invisible, procrastination, and fear of selling. (Yes, you read that right… even after 15 years in marketing, I was scared to sell my own product.)
My mission is to nurture this community to be the best it can be – to help women grow and glow, both professionally and personally. After battling my own limiting self-beliefs for over a decade, I know how powerful the right support network can be.
Community, when broken down, is common unity – and I truly believe that when women come together, we rise together.
