Description
An icon of Glasgow. Reimagined.
Some cities have landmarks. Glasgow has a traffic cone.
For more than 40 years, our city has proudly crowned the Duke of Wellington with a humble orange cone. What started as a late-night prank became an act of Glaswegian persistence, humour and identity. Every time it disappeared, another one magically found its way back.
Today, it’s one of the most photographed landmarks in Scotland and a symbol recognised across the world.
As Glasgow welcomes the world once again for the Commonwealth Games, we’re celebrating one of the city’s greatest unofficial icons… with a Glasglow Girls Club twist.
Introducing our limited-edition Pink Cone Collection.
Featuring our signature embroidered neon pink cone, this collection celebrates everything we love about Glasgow.
Bold.
Funny.
Independent.
Never afraid to do things differently.
Each piece has been lovingly embroidered by Glow Club member Arlene Smith from The Adornery, taking over an hour to create and produced in small batches to reduce waste and celebrate craftswomanship.
Whether you’re a born-and-bred Weegie, studying here, visiting for the Games or simply love this brilliant city, this collection lets you wear a little piece of Glasgow wherever you go.
When you buy from this collection you’re also supporting:
