Tell us about your business, the inspiration behind it and when you launched it?
My daughter was born in 2021 with quite a few ongoing medical care needs and when my maternity leave ended in 2022, I didn’t return to my full time Accounts job – I was instead, caring for my daughter full time. I have always been a massive believer in ‘memories over things’ and in Feb of 2023, I pursued something I love and became an independent travel agent. This allowed me to get back into work but still be at home. I have been gaining experience and expanding my knowledge of the travel industry ever since! I have most recently been given an amazing opportunity to become a Home Based Travel Sales Consultant with a franchise of Barrhead Travel – ‘Now Lets Travel’. I am so excited to be working with such an amazing brand and I cannot wait to help people create magical memories!

Don’t get overwhelmed!
What has been your biggest lesson/ challenge faced so far and how did you overcome it?
Biggest lesson has been to manage peoples expectations of what is possible.
What is your number 1 business tip for success?
Stay consistent
What are the big business goals for the year?
To grow my customer base

Hopefully by being able to network/promote my business it will give more sales leads.
What’s the dream?
The dream is to have such a successful travel business that I don’t need to worry about going back to office work.
