Meet the Member – Joanne Easton, Guided by Gaia Tarot

Name, business name

Joanne Easton, Guided by Gaia Tarot

Tell us about your businesses, the inspiration behind it and when you launched it?

I am a tarot healer, intuitive witch and reiki healer. I don’t call myself a tarot reader, because the way I work with the cards is very different. My readings are spiritual healings. I use the cards to give people the information they need to create the life of their dreams, and their most authentic self. Authenticity and empowerment is the bedrock of my work.

I have developed my own system of tarot interpretation which very much relates to the modern day and the issues facing women. I intertwine reiki energy with voice message readings, working with and directing the reiki to where you need the healing or clearing.

I am also a practicing witch! Intuitive and chaotic, I very much follow my own path (which is the key to witchcraft imho). I offer spellcasting services, and I also craft magickal objects, ritual kits are my favourite! Empowerment is a key element of my products, I want you to get involved in casting spells! I am also willing to tread the left-hand path when the baneful, karmic justice work is needed. If a witch can’t hex, she can’t heal. I can hex and heal.

It sounds wanky, but I am my inspiration. I know I help others in their healing journey, because I have helped myself.

I took my business full-time in February 2025, although I was doing it on the side along with a day job for a few years. It’s been a slow process of laying the groundwork, planting the seeds, honing my craft.

Best piece of advice you were given at the start of your business journey?

Don’t swear. Be high vibe. Be love and light. It was the best advice I was given, because I rejected it and found my own, unique path! I walk the light path, but I won’t hesitate to delve into the shadows, for me and for you.

What has been your biggest lesson/ challenge faced so far and how did you overcome it?

Tying in with the above, people trying to push their beliefs onto me. Particularly people who held themselves out to be teachers, or wiser than me because they had been walking the spiritual path longer than me. I am now confident in myself and who I am. If people don’t like an intrinsic aspect of me, they don’t need to walk with me.

What is your number 1 business tip for success?

Always do what aligns with your most authentic self.

What are the big business goals for the next year?

To work on more online offerings. This is a trial because I am also a witch, and our vibes can f*ck with technology! I want to offer online courses that people can do at their own speed. I also want to develop my mediumship skills, because I am now communicating with souls from behind the veil (or they are communicating with me!)

How can the GGC Business membership help?

I have had some learning experiences about collaborations (and personally, friends and partners!) lately, so I really hope to find some women who are a bit like me. Essentially, women who are weird, freaky, and always true to themselves!

What’s the dream?

To help people heal what they need to heal. To help people occupy their most authentic selves. To help women with empowerment. To do the baneful work for women who need this work. To pass on my information to enable women to step into their own embodied magick. A successful business comes with all of that!

Fave mantra to get you buzzed up for business!

F*ck the haters. Do it your way.

Shout out to another local business you admire!

Fiona Hunter at Crystal Clear Rocks & Minerals is my go-to supplier for crystals! She is an expert in her field and, equally as important, is ethical in all that she does!

Three fun facts about you!

1. I like dogs better than people.

2. I eat anchovies out of the tin.

3. I swear like f~ck.
