Tell us about your businesses, the inspiration behind it and when you launched it?
This idea lived in my heart for years before I launched earlier this year. Hustle culture isn’t supportive for our nervous systems, and too often we’re taught to ignore how we truly feel. After Covid-19 left so many of our systems bare with no healthy outlets, and after realising in my last traditional job that I wasn’t truly seen and my gifts weren’t being used, I knew it was time to follow my own path.
Best piece of advice you were given at the start of your business journey?
The best advice I was given was: “Do it scared, but do it anyway.” As a natural introvert with extrovert qualities, stepping out of my comfort zone to launch a business felt terrifying at times. But I’ve learned that fear doesn’t mean stop – it often means I’m growing, and that’s where the doors start to open.
What has been your biggest lesson/ challenge faced so far and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge has been visibility and trusting my own voice. It’s pushed me to peel back layers I didn’t know existed, and I’m overcoming it by trusting myself more and giving myself grace.
What is your number 1 business tip for success?
Stay rooted (no pun intended!) in who you are. Being yourself builds trust, and moving at your own pace ensures you can actually enjoy the journey.
What are the big business goals for the next year?
This year my goal is to grow Rooted Beyond the Mirror into a true sanctuary – expanding my reach, creating safe transformative offerings, and building deeper community connections. A key milestone will be starting Somatic Breathwork training to deepen how I support nervous-system regulation, while laying strong foundations that help people pause, breathe, and reconnect worldwide.

The GGC Business membership can help me bring my bigger vision to life by expanding my visibility and rooting me in a supportive community. I see it as a space to connect with women who inspire me, share knowledge, and hold each other accountable as we grow. With that support, I can refine my path and move closer to creating the safe, global wellbeing sanctuary I envision through Rooted Beyond the Mirror.
What’s the dream?
My dream is to build a sanctuary that helps people grow into their fullest selves while reminding them they are seen, supported, and enough. At the same time, I want to create balance and true freedom in my own life, so I can focus on actually living, not just surviving.
