Glaswegians Get Fed For Free With @chateau__x This Weekend

To celebrate the launch of Chateau-X Finnieston, the team behind the @sixbynico concept will be offering free steak for all customers this weekend 4 and 5 December.

The restaurant which officially opens to the public on the 8 December will be offering a free Chateaubriand for two for all customers on a first come first serve basis at their new Finnieston location.

The free steak offer can be redeemed from 12pm - 10pm and the Chateau-X team hope to feed hundreds of Glaswegians across the weekend and give them the first taste of their new signature Chateaubriand menu.

No bookings are required to take advantage of this weekend's offer.

Doors will open from 12pm on both Saturday and Sunday and customers are advised to queue from 1130am both days.

The free meal offer will apply to the Chateaubriand only - any snacks, sides and drinks will be paid for.

🥰GIVING BACK THIS CRIMBO 🥰

Hi ladies! It’s that time of year again (anyone else wondering where 2021 disappeared to?) that the GGC partner up with the amazing @glasgowbasketbrigade and help them to promote their #glasgowhumanchainofkindness

The founder Louise Graham and I (@pinktartandolly 🙋🏼‍♀️) connected through the GGC Facebook group back in 2019 when the brilliant members of the community collectively sent in 500 packs of custard for 500 Christmas dinner baskets made up by hundreds of volunteers.

Last year due to the pandemic, Louise and her team changed things up and asked volunteers to sign up at the website, pledge to make up a basket (or few) and then deliver them to pre-designated hubs, before the baskets were posted out to families and people in need throughout the city.

Surpassing their target of 1500 baskets pledged last year, the team are sticking to the 2nd format in the hope of making as many people as possible smile throughout Glasgow.

I see so many ladies in our community enquiring about giving back to the people in need and charities, especially at this time of year and perhaps getting involved with the #glasgowhumanchainofkindness could be something you would love to do.

Our final surprise for this Sunday’s @rooftopbrunchclub at @redskybar ladies …. 🥁 🥁 🥁

The event will be hosted by the super fabulous comedian @bruceangusdevlin !!!!!!! What a laugh we are going to have 🎉

Bruce is one of the UK’s most in-demand MC’s, and a resident host at The Stand Comedy Club. He makes regular appearances at venues across the UK and performs frequently in New York, Dubai and Amsterdam.

As warm-up performer, Bruce entertains television audiences at Pinewood Studios for Dermot O’Leary’s ‘Small Fortune’, and at the BBC: ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’, with Rylan Clark-Neal; ‘The Hit List’, with Rochelle and Marvin Humes.

On-air and on-screen, Bruce is a contributor for Kaye Adams’ BBC Radio Scotland Show, and Radio Five Live, with Colin Paterson. Together with Lorraine Kelly, he hosted STV’s Children’s Appeal, and was roving reporter and co-host of STV’s The Hour with Michelle McManus, for whom he wrote a trilogy of sell-out Edinburgh Festival cabaret shows.

Bruce’s residency at Edinburgh’s Le Monde Hotel, presenting ‘The Best of International Cabaret’ is now in its 5th year. His ‘Devlin’s Daily’ chat show held a 7-year tenure for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, hosting guest performers from around the globe. He is a veteran compere for The Glasgow International Comedy Festival.
